This course focuses on management and leadership theories and principles applied to nursing practice with an emphasis on developing skills and strategies for innovative and creative approaches to healthcare management and leadership challenges. Includes a 1-hour clinical component. Clinical experiences will be provided in diverse settings to promote quality patient outcomes. Students will work in partnership with preceptors and faculty to apply concepts of leadership and management in the practice setting.
