The Graduate Comprehensive Exam takes place 10a--12p (multiple choice) and 1p--3p (essay questions), according to the https://savvytime.com/local/ky-barbourville.

To each question of a multiple-choice quiz two (2) attempts are allowed but not required. If you do one (1) attempt, the score of that domain is the number of correct answers of that attempt. If you do two (2) attempts, the score of that domain is the average number of correct answers of those attempts. Either way, you have to finish answering the questions of a domain and submit your answers before moving to another domain, and you have two (2) hours (10am-12pm) to answer all multiple-choice questions. Some people prefer to answer the domains in the order presented on uLearn to make sure that they do not miss any of them, but that is up to you. Overall, regardless of the Master's program (General Psych or Clinical Psych), each student has to answer 100 multiple choice questions.

To pass a domain, at least 70% of your answers have to be correct. The result of the Comprehensive multiple-choice testing for each particular domain is not a letter-grade, but pass/fail.  High scores in other domains (or same domain essay question) do not compensated a potentially low score in a different domain  (or essay questions). Hence, when you get at least 70% correct answers from the first attempt at a domain you have no benefit from engaging in a second attempt consuming your exam time and energy, but people have the right to do it, if they so desire.

After the lunch break (one hour), you have another 2 (two) hours (1pm-3pm) to answer the two (2) essay questions. Before writing an essay, you may make notes/outline on a paper provided by the exam proctor ; write your name on those papers, as they will be collected at the end (but not graded). Each essay will be returned on uLearn in a separate WORD file. To prevent loss of your work due to potential internet interruptions, I recommend you downloading the file of each essay question, typing your answer on the local device, and the submitting it on the uLearn without changing the filenameDo not write your name anywhere, neither on the filename nor inside of the document, the uLearn takes care of your identification.
